I just I would let you know, I spoke to Alpha Batteries today. They immediately offered me £5 off the price of a
battery, so when I mentioned the promo code he said that I could either have the £5 off or the promo code which I wasn't happy about because he is offering £5 off to everybody.
Don't know what
battery you are looking at but I just tried the code on the Lead Carbon
battery I would recommend and I got just under £15 off (7.5%). so that is better that the £5 'everyone' gets.
What does it matter to you if someone else gets £5 off? Maybe you would prefer £5 off instead of £15 as long as no one else got ANYTHING off?
Then I asked, if I had a faulty
battery would they charge to send it back? He replied that the charge would be £20 per
battery. So taking everything into account I may as well buy batteries local. ie. Halfords no problems exchanging batteries if still under warranty.

if you are the habit of buying rubbish batteries that fail and need replacing, I think you are correct, Halfords ARE the best source for those
7.5% only usable online and not applicable to lithium. It’s listed under discounts.

I've seen this stated a few times about the discount not applicable to Lithium.
I don't actually use the codes with Alpha Batteries, but I do check to see what others buyers may see and I have not seen that limitation.
For example, they have an extremely well spec'ed Lithium
battery with Integral heating pads, BMS with Bluetooth accessed
Battery Monitor (which in my experience has NEVER failed to report the correct SOC or cell info, unlike many budget brands which are plagued with internal
Battery Monitors that are more use as a
RNG
) at under £450 for the 100Ah version which is a very good price anyway.
But use the code ...

Maybe the code is not
meant to work, but it seems to far as I can see?
