I've had one for years...the receiver box is 12volts, and is very good, it's even got a built in signal finder (low buzz to a high pitched scream when on the satellite)....but, the dish is crap, too small and no elevation markings on it.

I bought a cheap 60cm dish off ebay, and a tripod, and then with a little bit of common sense and a compass it was dead easy to pick up astra 2.

Although I had the tripod, I rarely used it as I mounted my dish on the rear ladder rack of the van.

Current van has Oyster2 self seeking, but I do worry about all that electronic wizardry going wrong.

Have the older aldi one 12volt pace reciever as said half the price of pace system works well use an old camera tripod fron charity shop and free sat finder app no problems

I keep trying to give one away, but nobody seems to want it. It's an older one and it comes complete with a tripod too and has been used 4 times when we were caravaners.
