In fact, whatever meat we have for Christmas dinner I always get a rack of Crackling from the local Butcher to have with it - which this year I will do in the Air Fryer.
Tesco do a mix to make onion bhajis . Supposed to be deep fried but works well in air fryer. Just add a chopped up onion. Have also made samosas on ours. Plus chicken tikka
We roasted a whole armadillo, it tasted crap but the crackling was brilliant.
OOPS, sorry, should have posted in the old and cringeworthy jokes thread.
Here’s a tip purchase a deep fat fryer fill it with beef dripping (NOT LARD) and buy potatoes peel and chip them then follow instructions on your fryer and enjoy frozen chips are too mushy.
We used to cook (when I was still allowed) frozen chips in the AF, certainly not mushy, maybe not in long enough or high enough, we did tend to thaw them first on a kitchen roll..

I cant think of anything worse. All that faff for a portion of chips, it's like a trip back to the 1950s. I bet Annie's still got a twin tub, or maybe a washboard and mangle.
