AIB Have Done It Again To Me !

It`s that time of year again, motorhome insurance renewal so i always ring round a few other companies to make sure i`m getting a good price for my required policy.

AIB for the 3rd and final time have done it again to me, promised to phone me straight back and nowt, nothing, bugger all :mad:

They`ve done this to me twice before but like a fool i thought i`d give them 1 more try.

So, if they can`t be bothered to ring me back then i can`t be bothered giving them my money and i will never ever phone them again.
 
two years in a row i have had to ph them as they were £100 more than go compare, then they dropped to there price on ph. :mad:
 
I use Comfort, no issues with price or customer contact for me, no idea what they are like for a claim hope to never find out.
I do like the clause that if the driver is incapacitated then they will deliver the vehicle home, which for us who have wife’s that would rather have teeth pulled than drive is a comfort (forgive the pun..)
 
Actually just had a really good experience with AIB. Filled in an enquiry on line and they phoned back, went through all the details and they came back with a better policy £50 ish cheaper than the C&MH club. I was a bit miffed with them as they had increased the premium despite the restrictions on use this year..phoned them and they dropped it to the previous years amount but I felt they should have taken the circumstances into account without having to be prodded.
 
Also have only good things to say about AIB. Used them for years with no issues and recently cancelled our policy as we sold the van and after a couple of phone calls back and forth we got back exactly what we were due. 👍 AIB.
 
We've recently renewed with AIB they found me a different company that was cheaper than last year so very happy
 
Think I.m about 7 years in and never had any issues

You're just black listed by them.
I had a repair garage that I must have upset once. I had some work done on the 'van and MOT. I questioned the bill when I was charged £45 for taking the van to an MOT center (plus MOT fee).
Anyway I went there for a quote for other work twice and neither time they got back to me.
 
I am with Scenic and they honestly do take some beating most especially as every single person I have ever spoken to there actually has an interest in motorhomes, most especially self built ones like mine and their prices are brilliant.

Always found AIB really good and good service. A lot of firms are a bit all over the place at the moment though as some are going back to working from home etc.
 
Tried AIB 2 weeks ago, only £15.00 cheaper than Caravan Gaurd who I’ve been with for 4 years so not worth the hassle of changing.
 
The last time Malcolm tried to renew the insurance on the van it was dearer than the others so he didn’t go back with AIB
