Just had an email, purportedly from AIB, they want to know my Date of Birth.

This strikes me as unusual, makes me think of a possible scam.

Anyone else had these?

You need to enter your DOB to access pdf doc which has info about what you will require to have in place after breakfast. Nothing sinister about it, many companies use same/similar techniques when sending out info to their customers.

I accessed info by entering my DOB, then saved doc to my file folder.

Me too

I had one yesterday and I thought at the time it might have been a scam so I just flagged it up now I’ll go back and see to it! 😂

It's long been the same process with documentation via email from AIB. They already have a customer's date of birth, so they allocate it to you as a password to prevent anyone else from opening attached documents. Phil uses (or used - haven't done it for a while) the same logic on Wildcamping... using your already provided email address to allow access to the POI downloads.

I called yesterday to them no scam ,it’s all to do with green card etc

They are having pdf file issues that’s true but defo no scam
