Aguri motorhome GPS RV700 DVR Advice

My neighbour here at La Masia Camping in Blanes says his Snooper GPS was useless in Portugal and wants to get one of the Aguri sets because his other neighbour says it's better. I suggested to him that it was the Portugese digitising that may be at fault but he wouldn't have it...
Any experiences Snooper versus Aguri? I'd be pleased to pass them on.

I may be wrong but are Snooper and Aguri not the same? At least the latter is an offshoot.
