affordable LED change

hello guys,
My name is Joann. One year ago I moved from Chicago to London. And the first thing we did – purchased our motorhome, because we can not live without camping.
Folks, I want your help about the battery. It seems like the battery is not very new (we bought pre-owned trailer). It drains quickly. My husband offers to replace the lamps to LED. But I know it is pricey. Can you recommend any affordable solution for LED replacement? Maybe something from your experience..

Hi friends

I don't think changing bulbs does much on the power side it's more how you re power off line, most motorhomes last 3-6 days off line and if you need more with out moving ,i use a small 13 amp solar +I also have a Honda petrol charger that I have used twice in 4years.

Regards. Snowbirds.

I bought all mine from china ebay and they worked well ,remember there is pure white 6500k or soft 3500k.
Now it depends if you want compleat lamps or just bulbs if so go fore smd led as there the latest type.
Apicy of your lamps may help so i may be able to give more info.
I had lamps to which i converted with boards like these with a switch which let me change from soft to white but some only require a bulb swap.

You could also use these bulbs or complete lamps,i prefair bulbs as you can replace whereas if the fixed lamp goes down you may not get the same again, the bulbs are 1156 single contact and you can also fit the tail lights and side with led ,no more changing with damaged fillaments and they use less power, twin contacts are 1157 and side bulbs are ba9s.
The white lamp in pics uses standard auto led bulbs and are v/bright.

eBay. Show some pictures of your lights and I can suggest LED lamps.

Cheers.

I also want to risk and buy bulbs from Ebay. We have the fixture, so we will only replace the bulbs. We do not have the outside light. Sometimes we use out solar lantern but the light is not bright. Can we install this fixture outside of our motorhome? https://www.mrosupply.com/lighting/...r-light-fixtures/1431490_stl360_rab-lighting/

I was going to recommend the Forum Shop for LED bulbs but I cannot find the link now ???

Aldi stores sell a selection of LED lamps at around £3-£4 .I had 10 watt halogen bulbs which I changed to 3 watt LED bulbs. These give a big power saving and are equally as bright and hopefully longer lasting.

Here is the britax ,takes two 1156 bulbs and has a switch but you could also switch it from inside or by remote which i did to my under floor step light so i can see and find my van in darkness.
The second lamp is a sealed unit and if the thing fails then its a new one ,i would rather have the boxy britax.
