Advice 3 way fridge

4 weeks ago Thetford fridge running on all three ( individually)12v 240 v gas but not cooling stopped for a cups put fridge on 12 volt cold when arrived at destination worked ok on hook up 240 stood 3 weeks now will not cool on any of the 3 but running any ideas please or experience
 
Sounds like the refrigerant has seperated , usual method to correct this is to remove fridge and turn it upside down , leave for a couple of hours turn it back , rinse and repeat , I've just had to do it with mine .

I bit of patience turning it and leaving it a few hours each time , then after turning correct way up refit , reconnect , leave another couple of hours then try firing it up , I found mine worked better than it did when I first bought the van.

like I said patience is the key , i turned mine periodically over a couple of days ( only because I had the use of a workshop at the time )

incidentally your 12 volt is usually designed to be switched on when you are driving , and on arrival switch over to gas or hookup , or did I misread your post

Yes misread the 12 volt working on the upside down turn it round will power up tmrw
 
Always check that you have a 12V supply going to the fridge that powers the thermostat, gas igniter, etc. I don't know the Thetford models, but most of the Electrolux/Dometic models need the 12V to work even when running on gas and 240V, the 12V that powers the fridge heater element is a separate circuit that is often only active with the engine running.
 
We've just recommissioned our trailer after a full year of standing unused, the fridge worked perfectly straight away, and we've never had to do any acrobatics with it in 5 years of use.

It was out of a 1991 Swift caravan, so was nowhere near new when we bought the Swift to break for some of the interior.

It's an Electrolux RM2267.

I park my MH on my drive which has an incline , so I was kind of expecting mine to go faulty i.e. refrigerant separating , absorption fridges tend to like being on level ground
