Deirbhile’s Twist, Blacksod, Fallmore.

They’re not old, it’s a modern stone sculpture, part of an art trail.

Had the place completely to ourselves after about 7pm and not a single soul or another vehicle until one drove past at around 8:30am following morning. After that no one again. We left about 9:45am, still no one… 👍

On the subject of slowing down, Johnie Walker was talking to the Saw Doctors on his show, and the subject of the pace of life came up. So what’s the Irish equivalent of mañana? asks Johnie. The answer came back, “Oi don’t think we have anything quite so urgent in Mayo”. Total legends.
