After the Whitwell Station meet me and Edd on Toast spent a couple of days at Happisburgh on the Norfolk coast which is quickly getting reclaimed by the sea. Edd said we should visit a couple of pubs at a leisurely walk. We set off across ploughed fields and forgotten tracks. after about a mile and half we got to the pub and had a couple of pints and a meal. Then off we went again about another four and half miles along the coast to the next pub. Edd is ex army and his leisurely walk was more like a power walk to me in full combat kit. We got to the pub and had a good night in it with the locals. Then it was another mile home to the vans in the dark. I took a few falls on the way due to a few beers and very tired legs. After that I went on to Bugsworth Bowl meet and Edd headed farther south to some unknown destination when he made his mind up where he was heading. I must say Edd had great direction sense in all the walks we did. I think he must have been born an Apache scout. I just thought someone might like to see a few photos of the walk while I'm in photo mood.
