A very wet loch Braden

In August 2016 Steven and my self decided to go for a wild weekend camp what fun we had camping by the loch. Even though the heavens opened as soon as we arrived and decided to stay open till we left. We made a shelter out of some tarp we took and built a wall with the rocks from the loch this helped keep the heavy wind and rain off of our backs. This year we are going more prepared and I have already bought a proper waterproof coat 😄. Loch Enoch is looking like a good spot I like the idea of walking before camping and having to take minimal supplies :) just a few questions, are the midges bad? Heard they don't go past 700m. Is there still a lot off trees around? Near the round loch of the dungeon and the ridge of loch Enoch?
Any help will be much appreciated :) x
