I was initially surprised that it was worth putting four panels on a small one bed sheltered housing bungalow, then I realised they had put eight on the roof, 4 south facing and 4 NORTH facing.

Low light solar panels are becoming quite common, obviously your better off with South Facing un shaded panels, but that’s not always possible.
My panels are in a perfect position, all south facing, no shade. But next doors roofs face East and West (again no shading) so they have 14 panels on each side and it works, ok not as well as mine and it costs a lot more, but work it does.
Front of my hovel faces east and back west, so i would require 2 sets of panels, and i would have to live long after my 3 score years and ten to get my monies worth out of the instalation price.
I was paying between 6 and 8k per year in electricity. i have used 107kw in the last 8 months. If I was penny pinching I wouldn't own a motorhome.
I have also put 4500kw back to the grid.
These Renogy panels use the new BS method of advertising claiming 25% efficiency in the adverts pictures but when you read the specs and small print they are tested to the current test standard at just over 20%
At this moment in time there is not an agreed standard independent test for certain types of conditions e.g. shading or panels like bifacials so sellers can and are getting very creative with their claims.
Seems appropriate to post this here, I had/have a spare 85w panel, one of two I bought from a facts member, and it was going down to Merlins to be fitted but I wanted to test it first, I was also testing a DC clamp meter Merlin suggested (link below), time and date below, so not scortching, but full sun south facing 2 miles from North Yorkshire.
It went live on the shortest day, which was a good time as we saw an increase each week. We have had exceptionally great weather this year though which was a bonus allowing us to run the 3kw element for water 5hrs a day most days after the battery was full.
Solar panels have got better over the years, but not by much.
Yes, 23% is indeed 15% more efficient than 20% but if the panels are 40% more expensive, only the seller is making a gain.
You'd be better adding one more panel to the array.
