A near miss in France!

That happened to us last week. We were driving along, a car pulled out of a junction ahead of us; turning to drive towards us. She cleared the junction but a Fiat 500 had to overtake her to avoid rear-ending her. He must have clipped her and been airborne when he hit our wing mirror, because he had a big bash on his door panel. Our wing mirror was destroyed and needs replaced, but it could have been a lot worse.

We heard just before Christmas that one of them has admitted responsibility so our insurance won't be affected.

Someone ran into our car at home while we were on holiday, she admited fault and I never had to contact my insurer at all, and her insurance told me NOT to mention it to my insurer as it was not going to be put on the database, so I have said not since then, it's six/seven years ago now so I don't have to.
