A different approach to a self build

Provided you have the payload capacity, a great place to start.
 
Way to much wood used and to heavy esp on the floor, side walls could be foamed and light ply stuck on top then held top/bottom with 1 inch angle brakets or wood battons screwed to the floor.
And no pipe channels under floor for wireing.
