7 days then off

Hi all, 7 days till we board at dover, start of the 4 month trip,France, spain, and portugal. To be fair most in portugal :lol-053:

camper, Packed, unpacked, packed, and packed again. :lol-053: Motor bike ready to load on trailer, after 140 quid rear tyre fitted in the morning, ouch!!

Gas lows filled, new solar panels fitted and tested, two volvo 625 amp hour batteries fitted, so should keep hook ups to minimum.
My Missus, packing it today, me throwing it back out :lol-053::lol-053::lol-053:, gonna be a cracker me an her confined in a small space for 4 months
Gotta keep cool. :bow:

But we are both looking forward to casting off,A.S.A.P :boat:
Just some fine tuning to do and off we go :wave:

so if your on your way to there as well look out for an old Fart and his not so old missus, in an old Tranni hi top home build, Bt Grey. (they are the fast ones) (Not) Bike in tow, Spent hours planning a route avoiding cheap wine stops, Might take us a while to get there though, If She Spots Any I missed :lol-053::lol-053::lol-053::lol-053:
Stop us for a cuppa if you spot us, all the best And a Verry Merry Christmas to You All, Tony And Teresa :wave:

Spent almost ten years going back and fouth exploring India, Much of it on a Royal Enfield 350 :scooter:
Motorcycled through so much of it, in the late 80's and 90.s

Great Country And great People, Merry Christmas once again :cheers:

Off next weekend too, not packed though. Only got two and a bit weeks away though. Still, that will do me at the moment. I'll keep my eyes peeled for you, always time for a cuppa. :)

two weeks is good, any break is just that, your always welcome to a cuppa and a good old chit chat :camper:

Thanks, but her indoors or not !! ...is the wineo :lol-053:..I like the apples, fermented of course. muct have a thatchers label. but if not, any good one will do,

always looking for an alternative :cheers:

Sleeping Pills ?? never had a use, sleep like a log and wake up in the fire place, thats me. Merry Christmas from us both :wave:
 
Good luck on your trip, but I expect that two 625 Ah batteries might slow you up a bit! Or did you mean Lucas type 625, 210 Ah batteries?:drive:

I used to ride a R.E 350 Bullet. Those were the good old days. It was a rare bike in Hamburg then.
 
We are street or wildcamping in Folkestone till the 4th Jan so if you fancy a night here before Dover let us know and we can share a cider!

Hi Thanks, and we would like to have done that, but got to see son,and grandson in Portsmouth before we get to ferry, Doing the father Christmas bit, ( I have the beard and the Belly} :lol-053::lol-053::lol-053: so 1st stop, there,.. second, my ferries,
Should hit the wild-camp spot on Dover Esplanade, late evening on the 21st ,or early hours 22nd

We plan to be in Dover on the 22nd to catch the Ferry for a two month trip, we haven't booked yet and will not travel too far South for the first few weeks because I am waiting for some results but a short break and having to come back is better than sitting here, anyway I am tight and I don't want to waste the ACSI card and France Passion I haven't used yet
