To be honest as much as I had a soft spot for capris back in the day...
They haven't aged very well for me....

Though a nice hot Mk1 escort would tick a box or several...

Especially with a cossy motor in it...

When you are driving it you can see it, bit like folk who wont buy certain colours of cars.

Why would you look at it when driving, you get to see it every time you go to motor, or even look at pictures.

Not sure if mine is personalised or not, was on it when I bought the car.
Works well though, car is a 1993, is a 500 and is an E Class.
And for the eagled eyed, thats the plate it came with, now has legal plates.

I bought a honda 4004 years back with the plate 4004, sold it the next day to a bike dealer, then I got a bowen moped given to me with the plate sab 99, yep sold that with in a week for £2.400, then sold the bike a few years back for £300, better than the interest the bank gives, my family have better use of the money than a plate, no insults in this post implied to any person or there plate.

That's what I would have done, Trev, loads of other things I'd rather spend the money on and would mean more to me personally, or be more useful.

But we all have different tastes and interests, hobbies and things that make us happy, so each to their own.
