Can anyone give a home to my '80s Minolta 700 AF 35 mm camera? It comes with bag, several lenses, Minolta flash, a bucket full of Cokin filters / effects and handbooks too. In another life it cost me over a grand, but that was over 30 years ago, now it's just gathering dust. So, if it takes your fancy and you feel like going retro, get back to me.
Cheers
Peter

I must have over 50 slr cams here all in a sideboard and not used, some smart sod invented digital making mine old hat.😭

I have a Canon AE1 gathering dust. Cassettes and Vinyl records are back in fashion so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Looks like they are selling for decent money on ebay so with all the other accessories surely you could get a few bob for your hols?

Keep hold it is making steady headway. Various brands and types of film are been made again that went out of production. ;)

The old Minolta lenses are usually the alpha mount type and they still fit many recent Sony digital cameras. If no-one is interested in the whole caboodle, you might find a buyer for the lenses alone. I've still got my old Minolta SLR from the 80s and a DSLR from about 10 years ago plus 2 compact digitals... but these days I only ever seem to use my phone. Sad really 😞

Just to say, Peter has given me his camera and equipment to sell on behalf of his chosen charity. It will appear on Ebay & Shpock soon.

Progress Eh ?

I have a nice light old Canon SLR (film)

I upgraded to a similar DSLR which uses the same lenses It is a bit Heavy but it is great
and I have a 100 to 300mm zoom lens

Phone cameras are useful but still prefer the Canon
And I have a Kodak Camera with a good Zoom like an SLR but no mirror etc
Can use the viewfinder or screen to frame a photo

Canon & kodak fro me because of the viewfinder !
