1985 Merc 207D Front Panel URGENTLY NEEDED

Hi All,

Forgive me posting on a similar topic twice, but I'm rebuilding all the front end of my 207D giving it well deserved new panels etc.... all round after 25 years good work. However, despite trying everywhere I cannot locate one at a sensible price (under £100) anywhere. Nice Deals, E Bay, Dronsfields Oldham, Mercedes Commercials, literally every one that comes up on the first 20 pages of a Google search have none in stock.

Does anybody have any suggestions please - it's the only bit missing now before I start dismantling. I am at an absolute dead end.

Thanks in advance, but as I say I have quite literally tried every NEW supplier in the first 20 pages of a Google search and all the well known decent used suppliers who all seem to have run dry as well.

Hi,
I owned a wonderful 1987 307D until recently and replaced front wings, bonnet and front panels at very reasonable cost for Eurocar parts. Their mail order bit is in Wembley and I've always found them helpful. Worth a try.

Thanks both. I'd seen the German and even put it into a dictionary - guess what it came up with?

Aircraft landing gear! Now the 207 is, of course, known for it's huge acceleration and top speed, but landing gear might be slightly unnecessary! 15mph up the slightest hill!

Will look up the Wembley one, got a list of loads now and finally sourced the bit I needed in High Wycombe, but always useful to have a list to hand.
