10.2 Inch LCD TV with USB Input - 12V & 240V

that's my tv

I have that exact one, also got it when it was on offer about a year ago, I set it up alongside a samsung led to compare and the picture quality is good and not far off the samsungs. Sound volume is its weak point but there is an output so that if you have a built in system with an input you can feed it through there and the software is not as simple to work around as some but that's just a mater of getting used to it.
the stand comes with a sticky pad and screw holes for wall fitting and I have been just poking the aerial out of the roof vent and getting a picture, never got one with the pull up aerial but I think you have to be in a really strong signal area to use that.

Actually I lied just checked mine is the older 9 inch version but I think apart from a slightly larger screen they have the same spec

It looks to be a Nikkai TV. I have had one from Maplin for about 7 or 8 years and the picture is very sharp but as said the sound could be better due the speakers being small.

It only uses just over 1 amp of power and mine has a built in 12 volt battery clipped on the back. It is charged up when on Mains electric and you can run the TV for a few hours without any power needed at all.

Had a 10" nikkai one from maplin a few years ago was a great little tv then the picture got all lines down it and if you pressed the bottom of the screen it would sometimes come back on. Took it apart but never sorted it think it was to do with the glue on the ribbon inside the screen itself.

I bought one of those 2 weeks ago, I actually set out to buy a Meos 13.3" but after 2 faulty models (yep 2) I returned to the store and got the Nikkai 10.2 instead. Can't fault it really for the price and it will play MP4 / avi through the USB so all I have to do is download from youtube , stickk it on a usb and hey presto can watch stuff even if there is no signal.

One drawback is that I have discovered that it needs a clean 12volt supply. i.e. will not run directly from the leisure batteries as , when charged they are over 12 volts. so I have just had to order a voltage stabiliser, in this case I bought a 12volt travel adaptor for a laptop off ebuy.
This may just be my set up of course and not a general issue as I have recently got a new van and am not familiar with my electrics as yet!
