Hi for a while now I have been having problems with the light switches on my Scheiber 36.09500 control panel, they are a bit erratic whether they work or not, especially switch "C" on te odd occasion the light in the switch has illluminated but the power isn't getting to the lighting circuit.
I have tried looking at the rear of the panel but with the mass of wiring behind there I have been a bit cautious about doing too much. If I push a little behind the switches it will sometimes make the switch light go on or off. The switches seem to have a small circuit board of their own and I wonder if there are dry joints on it, all the other controls work ok.
I have tried to search for a replacement panel but cannot find one, which isn't really surprising considering the age of it, I found one with the same model number but the panel was horizontal instead of vertical
Any Ideas, Thanks

Have found a PDF file think its the same unit may help, but will need to translate by copying text into google translate.

Thanks for the reply, yes it look like the right one, but it doesn't really help how I can fix the problen, if I can, I am hoping someone else has had this fault and solved it

I would of suggested that, but was not to sure if that was the best thing to do, the dry joint does sound a possibility. If you do take out make sure you take plenty of photos. Really hope someone can help.

I have unscrewed the panel and lifted it out slightly so I could try and pull the connectors off the switches in case they needed cleaning but they were too tight and I didn't want to force them, especially as the switch indicator lights kept flickering and dimming while I had them switched on
Just pushing slightly on the circuit board make some of them flicker so I do think is a joint or connector somewhere and am not sure if electrical spray would be any good, I would also have to disconnect the batteries and solar panel as well I imagine to stop shorting

Can you bypass the switch with some wire to see if it's the light rocker switch?

The bottom black rocker switches look like pretty standard mechanical switches to me.
Switch contacts can get a slight surface rust on them, so I would go a bit mad with them and flick them a LOT to see if you can clean the contacts on them. doesn't cost anything to try and worth a shot.

The white top push switches might just push a PCB mounted microswitch in? If you find the pushing the back of the board sometimes helps. maybe that microswitch needs to be a mite closer to the switch (something worn down or shrunk making the gap larger?

Chances are there is a common earth connecting that panel to the chassis/battery 0V - definately persuing mjvw's comment about a possible bad earth and eliminate that as a problem first.
If you don't have a meter to check these things, then you HAVE to get one otherwise you will never get to the bottom of this.

Hello,
My solution will probably come too late. I had the same problem last week, removed the panel and saw that the circuit boards with the switches were skewed causing the top soldering of the switches to come loose. This was probably due to the vibration of the motorhome and the weight of the connected electrical cables. See the little holes in the upper solderings in the picture attached.
Solution: unsolder the switches and push the printed circuit board back into place, solder the switches back in place, best at the top and bottom.
If a switch should break you can find a new one at
https://www.conrad.com/p/marquardt-...ch-1-pcs-703604?searchTerm=703604&searchType= suggest&searchSuggest=product.
The solder tabs differ a bit but the circuit board can probably be adjusted.
In attachments I send some pictures that can help you.
Be carefull and note the position of all cables, see the .pdf.
For the soldering you can ask a professional.
I hope my post can help you or other Rapido (Scheiber) owners.
Andre
