£$%^ box loo

I think that you are missing the point. With the £$%^ Box there is, in theory, nothing to clean/sanitise/store/find somewhere special to empty.

And everyone's missed my point about the legality of just dumping them in the litter bin. Is it legal or not? I doubt it somehow....

I feel its no different than doggy bags in the bin.

For not much more you can buy a proper chemical bog

Which, as I mentioned, needs to be cleaned/sanitised/stored/somewhere special to empty. Where I am wilding it is a good 25 miles round trip to the nearest chemical bog disposal point (that I know of *), but I'm usually just yards from a litter bin.

*If it comes to that, what is the legality of using a chemical bog disposal point intended for boaters, who pay for the privilage through their boat licence?

Why not carry a spade and bury it?

I've used the same handful of laybys for the last six months, I'd be running out of places to dig by now.... However, if I can bag it and bin it, legally, problem solved.

I would still prefurr a chemical bog, if too far from a emptying place just us a plastic bag as you would in the box type.

I've had one of these for a while but never quite got round to using it (interesting note that I needed it the other day and all the bags that came with it had already biodegraded!)

IMO much better option than chemical loo (folds down flat, doesn't need cleaning, emptying etc)

Interested in the legalities of disposing - really don't see an issue if it's sealed and put in a bin.
