BTW if you have plastic roof skylights the stick on antenna with the sucker work ok from the inside, I did it but ended up with a puck type on roof which is far better.
I can recommend teltonika brand routers as they’re highly configurable and open to any network , some come with small antenna but can accept most stick on antenna with standard fitments..
I use SKY because I can transfer data between SIMs and carry any unused forward without penalty, last trip abroad I’d accrued over 150mb to use in the modem (teltonika) which incidentally is open to any network SIM.
Hi, there is a member on here called ‘wildebus’ who has helped me enormously via the messaging on here and I believe he is based in Scotland but no idea where. Good luck with the project .vThere were other helpful members too but I know he’s up your way.
Could you not put up a pic of the end of the wire that goes into the router as I for one have a few of these knocking about ,just a thought. This one is on a small laptop for instance.
Thanks again for the advice, I’’ll get it sorted before I fit the new batteries, you’re probably correct as the Sargent unit is at one end and the batteries at the other, in fact I might ask the fitter to move them at the same time, thanks again, rog
Cheers Simon, this is the 2 batteries and you can see that the fused take off is attached to just one of the batteries, when I change them I can do the same or take pos from one and neg from the other, but which is correct?, regards, rog
So the pic is of my present batteries and it seems the ‘feed’ wires with the fuse are connected to just one of the 2 batteries, is this correct?, will it not use more of 1 battery than the other? Should I do the same ?
I have 4 of these quality batteries for sale ,£220 from Alpha batteries £75 each collected from Worcester, they don’t have the ‘lug’ type terminal so please look on website as I don’t know what they call them, they’re circular like a polo mint shape.
There’s a place nearby called ‘Highgrove’ which has over a thousand acres to hide in ,the guy who lives there is now just a squatter because it’s been passed on officially to his son.
