Lots of trailer stories mate. Once got home from Newton Aycliffe with only three wheels on a twin axle car trailer. Still safer than A Frame towing tho.

Trailer is best in my view and experience. I used to import cars from Japan and collected them from Liverpool docks. Although towing with a heavy 4x4 I had a few scary moments with the rear car pushing the tow car sideways especially on a roundabout. A bit opposite lock kept us on the road but...

Thanks for that wakk44. The site is currently closed so the wardens are not answering any calls. Caravan club website says it is closed until further notice. Just wonder how long that would be or how bad it is so that we can make other plans. Water does look very high on the Lowther Bar webcam...
