Sounds as if politics is creeping back on to the forum.
As a wealthy person myself, I'm more than happy to pay my fair share of tax but if what you say is true, do you think that the situation is any different in France?
I'm pretty sure that on the corruption scale the UK comes a long way down...
Still a great buy at that price considering it has a crank mounted motor which give the most stable ride due to the lower centre of gravity and the power coming from the pedal area rather than being on the wheels.
Maybe you should have worded it better then as your first statement which I quoted implies that you can break the law with impunity where electric bikes are concerned.
So that makes it OK to break the law?
The police may indeed turn a blind eye - until you have an uninsured accident which is quite likely given that many on here maybe don't have much experience never mind the skill on a pedal cycle with a fraction of the performance and a quarter of the...
Ultimately if the criminal fraternity want something badly enough then they will have it no matter what you try to do to keep your property safe but a garden shed is so easily broken into which is why the insurance company will not cover bikes stored there.

As far as " "illegal" electric bikes as concerned, that may be another matter
I'm afraid that it's not just a wild camping thing or a motorhome thing. It's an ignorant, selfish person thing and you find it in all walks of life nowadays.
The problem is that it reflects on others who wouldn't dream of that sort of behaviour but suffer because of it.
Careful what you say on here or you'll be in trouble with the thought police. I've already had a post deleted on this thread because of a comment about McNeish's political leanings.
It was actually Queen Victoria's gamekeeper, John Brown who when she asked what the name of the mountain was called said it was called "The Devil's Point" so as not to offend her.
The proper name of the mountain is "Bod an Deimhain" which literally means penis of the devil.
I think that he...
Keswick is our favourite place to stay in the Lake District.
Only problem is that we feel that we're the "odd ones out" as everyone else seems to gave a dog with them.....
