Think there are screws to lock the expanding parts. I might get one and try it.

We used suckers to hold an awning skirt on the side of the skirt to stop dogs (dog ... Oscar) escaping under the motorhome out of the awning ... they left marks! Wasn't happy as they don't polish out.
