BTW, many people don't realise that ladybirds can have a nasty bite too. I only found out by accident years ago, when I seemed to have several within a few weeks. I can't remember if they caused any bleeding or swelling, but they were definitely sharp and very painful bites! Ladybirds do also...

Surely to have experience of writing risk assessments, one would have to be qualified?? :)

SOME of the reasons why I generally reverse in are: As N.Brown says, the blind spots that you have if you have to reverse out with cars parked on either side of you; apart from the little old ladies, stray shopping trolleys, and the odd passing car that isn't paying attention, young children...

I don't know why, but the only time that I really feel safe out there is when I know that you ladies are all gathering many miles away at some Girlies Meet! :) But seriously, Well Done all of you! :):drive::)
