We never met but Nigel's posts were always worth reading for his advice and humour, a sad time when we lose a stalwart of the forum, our condolences to the family.
Shocked to read this bad news. Even though he had some major surgery a couple of years back, I thought he was indestructible. Very clever man, built all sorts of things including a mobile shepherds hut. He always brought wood for the camp fires. He then would tell his funny jokes round them. R I P Brownie you are a Wild-camping super star. Condolences to Eileen and family.
.... Tom ....
Always appreciated his comments and humour. Will miss seeing his avatar ...never met him but some people you don't need to meet to see why they are special. Sad for all his friends and family. RIP Mr Brown

Never met Nigel but it was obvious he was a very skillfull person in many ways not least at making people laugh, condolences to his family and may he find a good wild camping spot on his final journey. R.I.P
We met Nigel at many meets and he was indeed a wonderful funny man, I also thought he was indistructible because he fought his illnesses every step of the way. I can imagine how devastated his family are. I send condolences to Eileen and family. Will miss your posts Mr Broon.
