If it was the ferry to Europe he will be the only one who is very surprised and upset when someone sets fire to it. A good example of how not to get the man on the street to support us :rolleyes2:

Yes very naughty Mr Broon.

Should have been forgotten and only one question mark.:rulez:

Cheers

Maybe 1939 would have been more appropriate.

My dad had two trips to france, but he never went back after the war.

We and they should not forget.

:bow::bow::bow:

Many brexiteers [awful word] have been up in arms at being accused of being thick . I would never accuse a group of several million people of being 'thick' .
However anybody who voted to leave EU because of what happened almost 80 years ago ?

Looks like the queue for the Woolwich Ferry. Hope they got their passports. :)

grammer is fluid. The number of question marks gives the reader sufficient information to determine how questiony the question is. 3 would be really really really questiony. :juggle::D

does anyone else think this hypothesis is questionable ????

When we were in Eire, a couple of years ago, we kept coming across a large Brit A class with his back end covered in a drawing of St George skewering the dragon, with the red crossed flag fluttering .. Like a giant tattoo. Underneath was boldly printed ," English and proud of it ". We made a point of parking well away from him , especially as he always left his grey water tap open.

We wonder if he was a member of Her Majesty's Diplomatic Corps... ? Did he make it back unscathed ?
