I believe someone asked about LPG at Morrisons stores. I have questioned Morrisons re the filling of motorhomes with fixed LPG and external filling points and they confirm (from the Senior Operations Manager) that you can fill at the stores that have LPG.

The staff need to be informed that this is the case , you always get some jobs worth who won't press the button and you end up having a lengthy discussion then ringing head office which can take forever to get through. All hassle I can do without, my custom will go elsewhere.

Went into my Morris to fill up lpg, never went into both just lifted compartment door in vision of booth filled lpg bottle then drove to other side to fill with derv, when I went into to pay I said I bet they thought I was driving off ,they said that many motorhomes do the same no issues at all.
I said for future should I come in first to say and the reply was no worries it's all good.
Morecambe was the same no issues

Never had a problem filling mine with an external fill point but do struggle some times with the filler not locking on, seems to be the gun type the twist and lever type are fine.

We have done the same at Morrisons in Wrexham

Didn't realise there had ever been a problem ? Used Morrisons often

I am not sure re the gravity of the problem, but perhaps an e mail confirmation from OPs manager confirming that members can print off and save would avoid headaches, Also if Morrisons are aware of the number of vans they might given time allow overnighting ,,,,every business looking for additional income streams you would think.

Spoke with Morrisons before regarding permission I was trying to obtain for members to o/n in Morrison car parks but was informed it would be very unlikely as they do not own the car parks.
Hope this is of use.

Copy that, checked recently with our local Morrisons and got the same answer.

Could this then be the case in BusyLizzy Thread

Parking ticket woes

The reason why you cant give carte blanche answers a lot of car parks are not owned by the supermarkets but a lot are,,those that are is what I refer too...

I mentioned this on the busy lizzie thread but it seems a few either missed it or didn't bother reading

My local Morrisons now has ParkingEye managing the carpark.

£2 for one hour, £4 for two hours.

I know ParkingEye reputation and I expect its going to end in tears.

Its the central Harrow morrisons, Trident Point, 19 Pinner Rd, Harrow HA1 4BB.

You see I don't mind playing fair with car parking but ParkingEye has such a reputation for just trying to swindle money out of people :scared:for any kind of reason.
