I phoned my Doctor today and was told by the receptionist that my partner and myself were not entitled to it. We are 67 years old. No reason for refusal was given. I accepted her reply.
You are quite right,it is less likely,(one of the few advantages of senior years)but will be harder to shake off if you get it.If you don't have the seasonal flu jab you don't need the swine flu jab. The older you are the less likely you are to have a severe illness with swine flu.
I wish you a speedy recovery. Take it easy even when you feel better,these things can knock you back for a couple of months when your not in the first flush of youth.Listen to your body.

I was refering (no punn intended)to the 67 year old.But beleive me even at 40 enjoy and help others every day as you well know!!

I have the flu jab every year, as I Have MS and its advised to have it.
Not a lot of people know that.well I geuss you all know me well enough by now.
Somebody said drinking wiskey cures MS so i'm trying my damdest to cure this thing, try anything me. apparently it only works if drinking someone elses whiskey![]()
i believe scotch whiskey is milder than irish. do that not tell you something about the irish ?
