Hello,
I have tried to pay by PayPal but they want me to put funds in, that is not normal for when I have used PayPal and I changed password etc, but no where could I add funds..
In Turkey at the moment...can I paid by visa card, and I thought it was auto renew?
I would like to book the Hereford Meet in April.

Many thanks Joan

Go to PayPal's Sitemap page. Under the Money heading you should see a link to Add Money.

Paypal just helps itself out of my bank account when I pay for something with it. I've never had to add money to it myself.

Same, but you have to have a bank account/debit card linked with PayPal.

That is it, my PayPal is linked to my account....hence my confusion...sorry did not see any link to contact Admin.

I wanted to add our names for the Hereford meet. methinks I shall now wait until we are back in the uk..

thanks for your replies.

You can also pay by bank transfer:

You may pay via Bank Transfer, please ensure you use your username as the reference. Once the transfer has been made please click on the contact us button near the bottom of the page and send a "I have just made a payment" ticket.

BANK: Barclays
ACCOUNT NAME: Exceeder limited
ACCOUNT NUMBER: 63599094
SORT CODE: 200784

I hope this helps.

does your bank know you are overseas ? they may think its a fraudulent transaction maybe ?

PayPal will allow you to purchase goods and services whilst abroad but will not allow you to transfer money.

My bank knows I am abroad....I had the same problem with Iceland, bank approved the transaction but Iceland wouldn't accept neither would PayPal..

But Asda no problem...so it is probably whilst I am aboard...Home end of next week...

Many thank for your help..

PayPal will NOT allow you to transfer funds when you are abroad. It's nowt to do with your bank. It's paypal policy.

And the solution is probably a VPN.

It could be indeed. I tried to transfer funds a couple of years ago before I had a VPN installed. Mind, some sites recognize if you have a VPN (not the BBC, fortunately) and I guess PayPal would be pretty clued up. Worth a try though.

How do you change a vpn?

A VPN (amongst other features) will indicate that you are in whatever country/location that you choose. So, I'm in Spain at the moment but IP address shows that I am in the UK. I could set the VPN to show that I am in the USA if I wanted. My true IP address is hidden which is a security advantage and the BBC (for example) thinks I'm in the UK. I use SurfEasy, which I pay for but there are plenty of free VPNs available. Good for banking etc when using open WiFi networks if you're a bit paranoid.
