Hi all,

Thinking of buying a damp meter to use on the Motorhome, there's plenty on Amazon and eBay but wondering if anyone might advise brands/models to look out for or those to avoid.

I bought a cheap one off ebay described as "Professional Quality Damp Detector"

A Blackspur Damp Detector Moisture Meter Tester Wood Palster Wall Caravan - DD100

My wife pressed the LEDs thinking they were buttons and they broke off the circuit board inside.

Quality?

total rubbish, a waste of money.

Led lights

I bought a cheap one works well but has a dark led scale which is hard to see at times.
Thinking of getting one thT has bright lights to show the scale. Much easier to read.

Sounds like our lass. She's a tiny wee thing but can break anything.

My first car spent it's time driving contractors around during the day and ice hockey players at night, with all the kit the comes with both. Not one bit of damage.

Our lass managed to break the door, the seat, buttons. How?????


As for damp meter, I got a brennenstuhl. Cost about 15 quid and seems pretty good quality.
