So I bust one of these 25 year old retro looking handles - don't suppose anyone has any idea where I may get one from ? Van was an EMC conversion ( now no more ) I've spammed loads of VW and conversion companies so far but to no avail :(

Thanks

OMG - I could snog you ! I honestly thought I had no chance but this looks the same. I even emailed Reimo with a picture of my broken handle a few days ago and they haven't got back to me ! That will teach me to actually trawl through their website next time !

Having translated the options to yellow and dark grey I'm hoping the dark grey one will do - although I suspect that mine are perhaps an off white colour so they may not have my colour - still I could replace them all with dark grey at that price ! (My OCD tendencies shirk at the thought of handle colour mismatch)!

I even looked into getting one replaced using a 3d printer ! Lol

BIG big thanks :) I shall now contact Reimo directly again!

Thanks again !

Melissa

Haha ! :)

Sad news is that upon closer inspection it looks like they only got bright yellow or a square shaped dark grey one left but the one in the picture -I'm pretty certain that's the same as mine!

I have emailed them again the hope they may just have just one of the light grey ones seen on that page!

Really exciting just to have found the blinking thing!

Maybe you can get the yellow one and swap the broken part of yours, if you kiss izzywizzy first I don't want a kiss, I don't know where his mouth has been.

Alas, it's the inset moving bit that's snapped -I caught it pulling out my r&r bed. I did wonder if I could bleach a yellow one but plastics are usually the same colour all the way through so doubt that would work !

At least I know now that it is a Reimo part I'm after and now I even have it's part number :)

Cheers guys - note I did say 'could' snog you - not that I would ! Lol

Oi, I would have taken my teeth out first you know.:mad1::mad1:

There are spray paints out there that are recommended for plastic, might be worth a thought (another OCD nutter.)

Crestfallen doesn't even come close:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

Change them all to dark grey and keep the others for spares, they may become even rarer in the future.

I have emailed that other company too - though the website looks very much like Reimo's so I suspect it's the same company. Maybe I can hassle them to the point where they make more! lol

There's several caravan /campervan breakers yards I'm waiting to hear back from, but i think they would have already got back to me if they'd had any!

As for painting one of those ghastly yellow ones... hmmmm I shall seriously ponder that, but I think first i will try some heavy duty JB plasticweld stuff. It's broken into three pieces and maybe I will get away with 'plasticwelding' them back together, for now at least...

Thanks so much everyone!

Melissa

Have you tried O'Learys at Beverley - their place is like an Alladins cave or Magnums at Grimsby.
