I am still trying different methods of polishing my van, what do you use? has anyone any feedback on electric buffers / polishers?

Somebody else, to much like hard work !
Haven't bothered yet after buying my motorhome new in 2013. I get my car detailed every year by a local detailing firm, may ask him to quote for my motorhome. Mind you he charges £200.00 + for a car so God knows what it will be for a motorhome.

you and me both , WIFE = washing, ironing, fxxking, etc. Sorry girls, its a man thing.

I have used Mer Ulitimate Car Polish for years and always been happy with it. Easy to apply and easy to remove and gives good results for the amount of effort required. I do not use the add to wash bucket method as it greys the plastics.

I must be very sad, I wash and polish the MH once a month with what ever is on offer, car gets washed hardly ever.

Over worked

The dog next door does my wheels, and the sky sends me water for the body work:shag:,giving me more time to concentrate on the universe

????????????????????? Polish it ???????????????????????????, aint that what parrots do ? A wash before we use it and a wash when we get back, although I have recently polished the front bumper.

Every year , before setting off for our trip back to the UK, we take the van to the body shop in the village . He sorts out any dinks and scratches and gives it a good wash down.

Jenny is the driver , not all of the knocks are caused by persons unknown . It gives me a perfect opportunity to be magnanimous and forgiving of her minor sins, hoping that she might do the same for mine .

Money well spent and a boost to the village economy.

That's the thing with the polish, they take all the Romanian jobs us English don't want. I guess they work for the minimum wage, so they then claim benefits to make the money up and then give nothing back into the system.

Tin Hat on:nothingtoadd:

And before anyone pipes up and calls me a racist , that is one thing I am not.

Its not a stereotypical view, it is a fact and nothing to do with class. We are victims of our own system.
