Motorhome name

I am an ex-garage owner selling tyres. exhausts, and general servicing.
When I retired Karen picked the name for my boat 'Tyred-Out'

I rest my case nearly all have a reason or a story no one says sorry didn't love it enough to think of a name.
 
Why have a name at all...its an inanimate object,designed to do a job,boring I know but I certainly don't bother.
 
"Tranquility" -Tranquility Base is where humans first landed on the Moon and walked on another world, on the flight of Apollo 11.
plus it does seem relevant to MH ing.

Our van is called Archie gf chose the name but hasn't a clue why as we don't know anyone called Archie, when it goes for a service even the garage I use book it in under Archie.

My van is called SNOOPY everyone calls him that, the garage, family and members on here
 
Ours is ScamperVan cos we scamper from place to place in it and it's a Hymer Van.
 
Luna Lovegood (from Harry Potter)......a good one I saw elsewhere was Denise (van Outing) ��
 
Combination of make model and reg, how about Lupin. Mine hasn,t got a name but it,s often referred to as the Tin Hoose, strange as it,s made of plastic.

How about silly names, I dunno like..

Drut (the squishy ugly pet of main character Berk's from the Trap Door kids animated plasticine show voiced over by Willie Rushton)

or

Scutter (the little 3-fingered robotic helpers and maintenance droids from red Dwarf).

(as an aside.... I always said that if I ever named a House, that It'd give me a childish pleasure to have the name 'Far Corfe' on the gate :D )

Almost as good as the yacht I came across whose call sign when read out on old fashioned "over and out" radios was ..... Hoof Hearted - lets say it was capable of a lot of misinterpretation.......

I didn't think when I asked for help I would get such a fantastic response, some of the ideas have been brilliant and we have had a good chuckle at some of the funnier ones, at the moment we are unsure between Pinot Grigio and Noah, but go away in a few weeks and we shall see which one sticks, Once again thank you to all he contributed
