Proper smoked back bacon from the butchers, one onion cut into rings.
Start frying the onion in a big frying pan ,chuck the bacon in and fry till they're well done.In the meantime slap loads of Lurpak on crusty rolls.
Salt and pepper on the onions to taste and get it necked.Just made some.Lush!

Sounds lovely but got to have brown sauce on bacon:tongue::tongue::cheers:

Listen...sauce to your liking!
If you use red and brown together it becomes bbq sauce.
Not everyone knows that:lol-053:

Near, but not the ultimate bacon butty..

Ferry to Santander, drive to Portugal.......

Buy a 3mm thick slice of the Black Pig, ham, called Presunto.

Fry in extra virgin olive oil.

Fresh slices of Lidl seeded multigrain loaf, cut to about 8mm, dipped in the frying oil , after the ham is cooked .

Construct the butty.. No need for butter.

HP Sauce ,on the side , not in !

Eat on sunny terrace , accompanied by a pint of Yorkshire tea .

I have just finished one .

Sod the health warning we're all going to die sooner or later and I wish to enjoy my time here, bring on the butties :scared::wave:

Now and again wont hurt you, what will hurt you is reading too many health warnings, I read the other day that butter was bad for you on the results of tests done on rabbits which were fed large amounts of butter resulting in them having very high cholesterol levels and it turns out that as rabbits only eat vegetables these tests were somewhat flawed but the government bought it, small amounts of anything you fancy wont hurt you, lets face it would you rather eat natural foods or stuff produced in a factory, margarine and lager spring to mind.

Bacon I wish:cry: give my right arm for some right now!! don't seem to stock it here:raofl:

Yuk!

Lurpak? Brown sauce? Ketchup? Onions? Salt? Pepper? Yorkshire tea? What's wrong with you lot?

There's only one thing to add to a bacon roll or sandwich - that's more bacon. Maybe an occasional egg of course. As for Yorkshire tea [fx-spit] . . . ;)
