I've used a SOG system on my van toilet since 2011. No chemicals or bio tablets required. No smells in the washroom as the SOG creates a slightly lowered air pressure in the cassette which sucks out the smells from the toilet and surrounds!

It does not however clean the interior of the cassette like the bio tablet but then why do you need a clean cassette interior?

I think Outdoorbits in Exmouth are UK agents for SOG which is a German company: Outdoor Bits - Motorhome Accessories and Caravan Accessories

The trouble with these is that there seems to be a lot of SOG users that don't change the carbon filters or don't bother with one and they stink on the outside. But a bit of poo related stuff never bothered Germans.
