Any Knowledge of this Toilet Fluid in bulk on ebay

Why help poison the environment? Loo chemicals are totally unnecessary (as has been discussed on this forum many times). :)

There`s quite a few places that don`t allow " Blue " toilet fluid.

I appreciate is says " Eco Friendly- Does not contain formaldehyde or gluteraldehyde and is based on quaternary ammonium compounds. " in the description
but people just see the blue fluid and think the worst :scared:

Anyone know anything about this product? It seems too cheap to be true! We don't want to go SOG or LIDL, being content with something blue...
Gets good feedback though.

Blue Chemical Toilet Fluid ( 2 x 5 litres ) | eBay

What's your reason for not wanting a SOG? Easy to fit, very eco friendly and much cheaper in the long run. We've been using one for about 16 months now, and it's brilliant.

Only problem is the PONG!

Just personal preference thanks.

Only problem is the PONG!

If a SOG is installed and working correctly, there's virtually no smell, inside or outside the vehicle. Every chemical I've ever used smells a lot worse than my SOG system.

Thanks for the advice, but our toilet has never smelt bad, and I'm not looking for a debate: just some simple feedback on this product.

The pong is when you empty it.

Recently I tried it with no additives, hoping that the contents of the cassette would break down naturally, no smells inside or outside the van, but when I tipped it down my outside sewer the missus complained about the stench in the house, & all the windows were closed!.

We've started using Tesco Bio Tablets, much better. The only smell when emptying is a sort of washing powder aroma, not the best of scents but much more pleasant than the smell of poo.

If you look on their ebay shop, they also have a green fluid - a £1 more for 2 x 5lt.

When using bio tablets, do you add any water?

The theory behind the Sog system is that by bringing fresh air into the cassette it promotes aerobic decomposition which is apparently odourless. A cassette with simply no additives gives you the smelly anaerobic decomposition.

All chemicals on sale today should actually be suitable for disposal in most facilities, the prejudice against blue being mainly based on earlier compositions. Mind you blue or green of any formulation beats the h**l out of the old elsan fluid.

You could chuck in a litre of water.

Personally, I don't bother, I find the flush water does the trick & when only wildcamping, the less emptying the better.

Thanks for reply, might add a small amount to dissolve tab then
