Threads getting re-directed or "Hi--Jacked"

Hello All.

This seems to happen a lot.

In particular Thread: The likes & dislikes of Wildcamping "meets" . . .
Seems to have become a dog discussion.

Inevitable some deviation from the main thread will occur and is useful.
I have been"guilty of such activity".

However may I suggest we all be a bit more disciplined and stay "on Topic" as much as we can.
Not a big deal but worth a thought !
 
This thread has never been about the 'likes and dislikes' of meets, but simply a moan by the OP because he dislikes dogs. At no stage has he mentioned anything that he actually likes about meets.

Whilst I understand and appreciate what you are saying but on that particular thread the original post was quite a big whinge about DOGS so it's understandable that the thread would carry on about dogs. As you say he called the thread likes and dislikes of wild camping meets but there was nothing in his post that he liked just a big whinge about DOGS.

Page 2 post 8 Admin is discussing dogs so I fail to see your point on this particular thread.

Seems to me that you can discuss anything on here and several threads / posts go off on a tangent however........

If a certain handful of members don`t agree with the subject or the way it`s going then it`s wrong and all hell breaks loose !
 
A little "deviation" on some threads can be a good thing. It may be a little frustrating but not difficult to get back to the main thrust of the matter in hand. :)

RoamingRog & CampervanAnnie have it spot on. The thread stayed on subject, it was the title that was misleading.

Many other threads have gone way off topic, but not that one.

Variety is the spice of life & conversations (threads) evolve with time and the involvement of different participants.

I notice that the thread originally mentioned has someone coming out with the same old statements about all dog owners on here.

What is the digital modern day version of a stuck record? Answers on a postcard please.
