Having to visit S****horpe the start of next month for a funeral .was looking for advice as to anywhere we can wild as we are going to take mh and then spend a further few days touring
Thanks in advance
Any places near heslam park?

You could look at Cleethorpes or Epworth (Epworth Old Rectory) areas. I don't know of any places to park up, these are just suggestions of places close by.

you have to laugh at the mod filter, its little over the top :raofl:
It isn't anything to do with a mod filter, it is automatic profanity filter and picks out words that are included in others, words like s******, some filters would turn s****** into s****** but would you rather have posts full of profanities, the mods cannot watch every post as it is posted

the word is snig*er:raofl:

SNIP but would you rather have posts full of profanities, the mods cannot watch every post as it is posted

Simple solution: if posters can't express themselves without using profanities, then they shouldn't be allowed on here or on any other forum, except on those where it is encouraged!

How thing's change! In the 60's the American release of the Stones 'Let's spend the night together' had to be re-titled 'Let's spend some time together'!

whereas i could post some '20s blues titles that would make a trooper blush ! disgusting maybe, but funny too !

An obvious spot, is down the A18 towards Doncaster, turn right towards Crowle, ( but double back on yourself on the gyratory itsef) a tarmacced road leading to the canal.

Second spot is the picnic area at Belton just off the M180 , towards Epworth on the right hand side.

In Scunny itself there is a large layby set back off the A18 towards Brigg, very busy with trucks though.

Best spot by far , ( and I have used) is into Epworth s/on at the traffic lights 200 yds turn right, road is 300 m long t junction then immeadiate left ( it brings you by the Showground)

Carry on for a couple of miles and you reach the River Torne, you will see a pumping station on the right, immeadiately on your left are two places...stopped loads of times and never had any bother

I agree entirely, the only place I don't mind it is the joke section because some jokes don't work without but I still think there should be a warning on the title, I do have delicate ears:angel:

Should really call it Petuniathorpe, sounds so much nicer
