Im after an additional battery, any ideas about the best supplier or has anybody got one to sell?

We bought a 115 ah from Halfords £87 2 weeks ago not sure if that is a reasonable price or not.
 
If your adding to another battery you may well be better matching all the details including brand to your existing battery.

Hi rockape,

I have been looking for a new Battery and the halfords don't seem to bad,and as my son in law said to me after he bought them for many of his cars and vans,they are near by and there is no problem to return them as he has if they go down under warranty.They are doing a 115 amp for £89 with 2years and my local caravan place want £100.

We use Halfrauds a lot now mainly 'cause my daughter has a trade a/c there but it works out cheaper than some of the parts etc companies.

when I was in business a few years ago I used a firm called Flexel UK and they were good. Might be worth whoever does the site shop giving them a call with ref getting a trade a/c for the forum as they deliver to any address so no handling involved.

Tanya batteries, great selection you find it hard to find better, I think if you order before 2.00pm you ll get it next day.
 
Just reserved a 115ah at my local Halfords for £80.10 they have a 10% discount on camping stuff at the moment.
 
Alpha Batteries at Spotland Bridge, Rochdale are very good on choice, price and advice. They sell on ebay too. I think they trade under The Battery Man aswell.
 
I bought an Elecsol from Bawtry caravans 110 ah for £100....gel type which seems to perform better than the old wet type...that said I suppose you would expect a new battery to be better.

If you are adding a battery, it is supposed to be good practise to replace both at the same time !!

Numax leisure 135w from Advanced battery supplies in stockport 0161 300 6879 ( website on Internet). I squeezed two batteries in where my old one lived. These are the same size as a 115 but a touch taller. Real beasts which cost £140 each inc vat and delivery.

Top tip....... call personally if your can collect, and your in the area. Cash discounts apply face to face, if you know what I mean !! ( and they offered to fit mine for a fiver) A good set of lads . 270ah makes soo much difference :D
 
I'm looking to add an additional battery at the moment I have a numax 90ah fitted, should I only consider adding another 90ah or could I add a larger one along with the 90ah. I am loathed to get rid of the 90 as it was only put in when I bought the van in January.

I read that Elecsol went bell up. Make sure you get a good guarantee if you buy one.
