Any sensible suggestions ........... :anyone:

"I knew I should have bought a van with rear wheel drive!"

No! not that reverse gear, the other one . . . :mad1:

This is what happens when the car reverse is on the left with first on the right, & the van is the opposite way around!

there is an app on my phone that goes straight to god if I go over 62 mph in my merc 508,I think they need it!!

What NEXT

So how would you get out of it.

If you tow it back your are going to make a mess underneath so I thought ..

Put a car inner tube under each side and pump them up. Then tow it
backwards. It will not do the inner tubes a lot of good but could save
a costly repair ..

or

Get a crane ..

But then I thought about the Irish Crane on YouTube where they have to
get another crane to get the first one out and then another to get the
second one out ..

Any other ideas ....

You'd never get the pressure in an innertube to lift that. It needs proper Fire brigade standard lift bags. It's gone a long way over, there will be a fair amount of damage already. Probably a couple of trolley jacks would be the best solution & then gentle ease it back without it pulling off the jacks.

I think inner tube would lift it, they can go in tyres after all. :)

But yes, imagine damaged already, push it in the drink and claim. :lol-049:

The strength of the tyre wall & wheel rim isn't there to support the tube. Try over inflating a bicycle tube on its own & see what happens. The pressure never gets that high & it is easy to stand on one part while the next bit along simply expands further.

Trolley jacks are the answer, have them on a steel boiler plate & they will roll quite easily as you pull the van.

On the other hand the inflatable rollers used for beach launched boats may well do the trick

If they were in Marseille they could have asked the Marins-pompiers who provide fire and rescue services ... rather than the Sapeurs-pompiers

With the date on the photo its recent. Wonder how they got on ......

Suppose they could sue the Council over Health and Safety as there is no Barrier to stop you doing something daft ..
