We now use this and 5 ltr water containers. It means we don't need to carry an empty watering can, but carry full 5ltr containers instead.

I carry two 5 ltr cans and only once ever filled my main 100ltr tank, emptied it and never used it again, only the waste tank to empty some times.
Then again i dont stay away for weeks at a time, just the odd overnight.

We don't have a conventional filler. We had one of those plug in fillers, a Truma Crystal Compact. But it leaked everywhere. I changed the "O" ring, but it was nearly as bad. It is 20 years old and not looking good so I took the hose off of the back and attached a hose connector. I now connect the hose directly to the internal hose, through a mater filter. But filling is never a problem for us, we rarely stay in one place longer than three nights.

This reminded me Chris, I still had it sitting in my Temu Cart waiting to build up to £15 for free delivery. I had some other items in there but was still 3 quid short so just ordered some more work top extension brackets - for the boat this time.

On the way now.

We use the W/C most of the time, and some times a 1 meter hose so the can stays on the door whilst filling it.

We do carry a hose, just a ball ache using it, can lives behind the loo.

Looks a good idea if you are going to carry a 5 litre bottle.
We use a colapz watering can which folds down wellView attachment 207174
Our Collapz Watering Can kit has been relegated to garden watering, BUT we do use the Collapz flexible filler pipe for the inboard fresh water tank refills and use 2 x 6 Ltr Spanish hypermarket Spring Water bottles to pour tap water into the flexible pipe funnelled top; far easier to control!

I use a 25 litre water carrier with a tap and 4 x 5l carriers you can buy in supermarkets which I use for drinking water and just keep refilling them. I dump the 25 litre carrier into the tank from inside the van. I can access the tank from there and just turn the tap on. You would need a trolly or strong arms to carry one any distance though. I carry it on the scooter, same with the 5l carriers.

On the old van I did try and heft it up to a funnel in the side but most of it ended up all over me. Far easier to fill from the inside I find.

Until you pour it all over the floor that is, Her lady ship would be well I
Impressed by that I bet.

How is your old lady BTW?

No danger of that as the carrier has a tap on it. I just position it above the tank and turn it on. Takes a few minutes to empty. If I use all the five litre carriers as well I can generally fill the tank on two runs from empty.

She is not too bad thanks. A few twinges but other than that pretty good. We are off again to the Lakes in the van on Monday. Just for two and a bit weeks as she has to be back in early July to get the stent to her Kidney removed.

Curious about her treatment. I have kidney stones , certainly not as bad as Michelle's.
Put me on the pummeling machine . 'You can have painkillers anytime . No I'll be fine . Aye right !'
Still some crumbled stones left which are not causing me a problem 🤞.
But they did say if it flares up they'd stick a catheter up my chipolata ! Apparently ladies plumbing is different but I'm assuming Michelle's stent treatment was because of the severity of her condition?
I keep telling them anything below the waist is a one way street

I don't know if you use Facebook but this group has been extremely helpful.

They often seem to fit stents to both men and women. They are often fitted months before treatment of stones though because of time constraints. However Michelle had both the stent fitted and the stones destroyed / broken down. I gather if successful they can be completely broken down to almost dust or they sometimes grab little fragments in a little basket on the end of a probe thing.

Hers was pretty critical as there were two stones 9.5mm and 7mm blocking her Ureter.

Good luck with it all but as said, join that group for advice although its a double edged sword as there are some horror stories.
