So what do you hope to get at the NEC show ?

Hope you make it, just checked out your blog and would be great to meet you all before you set off...your dog looks beautiful!! I have the same dilemma about bringing my dog, but may be able to find someone to mind her. if not it will be a case of back to the van for a break and a dog walk, think she would be OK with that as she is used to being on her her own for about 3 to 4 hours - I work full time but come home for an hoours at lunch to walk her:wave:
 
There must be loads of us going to the show. Perhaps we could all find a small name tag/badge and just put a nice big "W" on it. It would mean nothing to non-members, they'd probably think we were from a trade stand or something but we could chat and compare notes with each other.

We could also have a secret handshake heh heh lol.

How about a badge with a sheep on it for you? Which day are you going? We've found a cs for £5/ night so we don't have to drive back, going to make a short break beforehand as well!

You can be so hurtfull on times telling everyone about my problem. LOL

My other problem is I'm going with my tugger friends who are desperate to get real and buy a MH. Not sure which day as they've got the tickets with free parking, We're (me) driving up and back same day.

By the way, I officially retired on 30th September. whoopeeeeeeeeeee.

Yipeeee! Hope you celebrate well! I am sure you will be welcomed with open arms at the new MH stands, Martin will want to look to, but I find I get rather envious of what is available. We're going Tuesday as OAPs so get in really cheap with cc membership. Parking is free for everyone if not staying overnight. Car park opens at 8am so we are going to aim for that and have breakfast in the van. Have a good trip! Enjoy!

Can meet up in the bar at Weatherspoons at lunchtime if anyone wants (07941) 172043. Probably around 12.00.

Last year, had lunch in Weatherspoons, which was packed out, then when we got to a stand to buy something, realised I had left my handbag looped over the back of the chair :scared:

I can't recall what OH said, but it wasn't 'Well done, dear.'

Went back to Wspoons about 30 mins after we had left, to find it was safe in the staffroom. Staff member clearing the tables had found it and handed it in. Put a donation in their CLIC box, as they wouldn't take a tip, said it was all part of the job.
That's why I tend to use a 'bum bag' now if I'm out and about in crowded places with lots of things to pick up and put down.

Oh, the joys of growing senility!

Weatherspoons does get busy. Best to get there early. Even 11.45 maybe a good move!

The alternatives are the bars/cafes around the edges inside the venue which are slightly worse than crap if that's possible :lol-053:
