No 12v Lightning or water pump

Down in Saint Maxime and my friend has lost his 12v to Lightning and water pump.
Any ideas where the fault could lie?

Only way after fuses it a run round with a multimeter, cheap as chips and should be carried in every van.

He thinks that there is a resistor in the control panel that might be faulty. Could that be so?

Again it can be tested with m meter, there is no short answer for electrics, test test test.

It is a British made van and there will be no power in the Hab area when the ignition is live or the engine is running, Check the relays which used to be under the bonnet and possibly still are. If faulty, they will cut off the power.

There is an inline fuse between the leisure battery and the PDU.
If this blows you lose all 12v from that battery, but you will get 12v if you are on EHU and the battery charger is on.

To find this fuse follow the red cable from the battery.

Been there got the T shirt.
Worthwhile carrying a spare for this fuse, then it never blows.
