We had wedding videos Friday and Saturday but planned to go away on Sunday till Wednesday/Thursday......

but on Thursday one of my staff had to rush down to Wales as her daughter went into labour. So no trip as I have to cover her now this week:(

I was well miffed - I had worked so hard getting everything ready making sure the business was covered in my absence and this was going to be our first proper trip in Frank (only done 1 night at a time so far - and only twice!)

Oh well.... what can you do?!

Baby arrived today btw (how inconsiderate?:lol-053:)
 
You can take great pride in that you are a good boss. That is a rare commodity in this corporate age :)
 
I agree with Jonas... lovely of you to step in :) Hope Mum and baby are doing well :baby:

Awww thats too bad Rach, what a shame and what a disappointment for you. But i reckon she owes you one now... and you never know the weather might get better for when you do get to go. At least you've still got that first trip to look forward to, its great to finally spend a bit of time away in your van thats when you really start to work out how it works best for you, and theres not end the fascinating discussions you can have about it!:)

Why mtm what a generous offer - dont suppose you fancy nipping up to yorkshire to deliver my granddaughter whilst i nip off to the August meet up North? But maybe try and practice your midwifery skills beforhand a bit - maybe we can find someone else for you to practice on

Yeah its just like that for the woman too!! Oh apart from the bit about getting torn in half by something you cant stop! But you have put my mind at rest as to suitability!:) will send directions and prepare towels!
