hymer paint codes

Grobag

Hello i'm a newbie. I have recently bought a 1999 hymer e650 and i would like to spruce it up a bit. The grey skirts around the bottom of the body work have a couple of scratches in them. You can get the replacement panel but it is £60 a metre, which isn't bad, but the minimum order is 6 metres:eek: so i want to go the paint route but i can't find a paint code anywhere. The local paint shop says he can match it eventually, but it would be a great help if i could get a code. So does anyone know the code for the grey metallic on the skirts. Many thanks

This is a bit late in the day but have just come accross this
Paint code is Hymer Graumetallic A 9233 but is only available from hymer.
I used a paint company to colour match my paint, it will have faded a bit anyway so the correct paint would not probably match.
In my case I wanted to repaint the bumper, so took it in and they matched it..

We had some excellent work done by a National Franchaise called Caravan Medic. We have 'Burstner Ice Blue' on our van, and the colour varies slightly depending on what material it is painted on....the chappie that did our matched it 'spot on'...and the price was extremely reasonable!! Worth giving them a call.

Usually the paint code number is right next to the Vin number under the bonnet. Only surmising, because that is where my paint code number is. Have a look around under the bonnet. I could also be wrong.
