We had terrible winds last night, so the garden stuff is everywhere, not been outside yet.

You can just see one of the solar PIR lights I mentioned elsewhere. I have four now, three out for testing late last night, and we're very impressed @ £2.60 a pop, really bright and illuminate our stone paths and steps very well, hopefully they will survive the winter..

Hopefully it will flower next year Kev. If it does you may wish to anchor the arch down well as it will catch the wind.

My similar Solar lights were brilliant through the winter.

We had a 6x6" oak post and a 6x2" beam; the wind took that down. We're hoping less area will work better.

Where exactly was the Wisteria Marie? Liz goes nuts when we see any. We have had several attempts to grow it here and at the last house, but it's not really worked. We're hoping the latest one will take off eventually on a new arch we bought especially for it to grow over.

It was in central Kilkenny growing over part of the old town walls.

Morning Trev, we visited Newgrange & Dowth yesterday. Got a tour of the outside of Newgrange as visits to the inside are fully booked at least 2 weeks ahead and we were last minute visitors.

Yes, Neil was in his elephant, well worth the visit

Parked up last night on waterfront near the ferry port at Larne, same spot as last year. Peaceful night, just had a cuppa and about to get up and sorted. We’re hoping to get on an earlier ferry home today (flexi tickets so ).

Had a little “incident” with camper after leaving Newgrange and heading north yesterday. Nothing serious or life threatening, but means we need to get home with poor old Vera and get her sorted asap

That's a shame Marie and I hope it doesn't work out too expensive to sort out.

Maybe i could have sorted van, there me changed the bathroom loo seat, had a bath and groomed the cat etc and she is going home, you will be back im well sure some day.

Glendalough is lovely without the crowds.
Unfortunately crowds seem to have increased exponentially since covide for some reason both in Ireland and over here.
Newgrange only needed booking the day before when we went just before covid
