Sleeping in Cars/Vans Again

A high percentage of NI population never thought they were lucky being policed by the RUC .
Quite the reverse
True but in my time as a young lad they nicked you for everything and made folk hate them big time.
I at about 14 got grabbed and tossed into a landrover for what they thought was a machine gun, it in fact was a fork leg for my BSA m bike.
Then one day working a a fuel staion i got nicked for riding a susy 100 i tuned for a chap around the pumps, done me for no ins and not wearing a helmet.
Took my g dad to go down to the station and after a long confrontation the case was dropped, fact is it was easy game for them rather than tackle what was going on in the north.

I have a funny feeling the important part of the story is that the police suspected the person of recently driving, engine still warm, etc, etc?
As we know things are not always cut and dry, and papers/news etc bum things up a little without giving the compleat story.
Then again i could go into a long story of what cops tried on me once when about 20 years of age, did not end well for them.

Glasgow police were like that . Edinburgh police totally different

When young i drove to Ballyclare co antrim to a brilliant chippy at old town centre, parked my imp in carpark 20 feet across the road and dandered over into chippy and joined the cue, after 15 or so i got served and ordered a cheese burger, after about another 5 mins i got it and walked over the rd to my car, got in and just had my first bit when 2 gray landy piggy wagons pulled in behind me and opened my door, screeming that some speed you were doing down the hillhead rd, we clocked you at over 80mph and we have your number, me yes you would have my number as you noted it just now, and i was not on that rd and have been in chippy over the rd for on 20 mins, ok police said we will ask which they did, eventuly after a loot of harasment they drove of.
I put a complaint in to ballyclare station, 2 weeks later i got a apology letter from the officer, blinken cheesburger was stone cold after they left. :(
