I will continue to burn our wee stove with nary a regret. In the grand scheme of things right now (and at my age) I consider the use of it to be as dangerous to my life and limb as a gnat’s fart
One thing is absolutely certain: while ever the price of mainstream public power sources (oil, gas, electric) remain extortionately high I won’t be stopping using my multi-fuel stove any time soon. In fact, I’m damn thankful we’ve got one!
It’s called affordability (and a little bit of independence from outrageous profiteers).
