I will continue to burn our wee stove with nary a regret. In the grand scheme of things right now (and at my age) I consider the use of it to be as dangerous to my life and limb as a gnat’s fart

One thing is absolutely certain: while ever the price of mainstream public power sources (oil, gas, electric) remain extortionately high I won’t be stopping using my multi-fuel stove any time soon. In fact, I’m damn thankful we’ve got one!

It’s called affordability (and a little bit of independence from outrageous profiteers).

Hence i was thinking of removing my old parkray and getting a we wood stove, i can get wood for free, must be at dark mind you.

After decades of welding all types of materials, Trev. I won’t worry about my 5kw stove use. That said though, I may un re-tire my air fed welding hood when watching tv in front of stove

Well, I shall mansplain a bit more. If you burn any bits of scrap wood you come across, like wood treated with preservatives, it can be dangerous to health. Of course you would know that as a modern woman.
